CAKE in a Coffee Cup

I've heard the term "Easy as pie"; but what about this fun to make "Cake" in a Coffee Cup?
Yes...I said "coffee cup".

My friend, Katie, e-mailed this recipe to me a day or so ago. And because Jim and I are always up for a challenge (even if it's not really a difficult challenge) we decided to try it out last night.

Here's a picture of the final product. It was actually tasty (for something so quick and easy).

So?... Are you up for the challenge? Follow the recipe below (then, let us know what you think?). Get your Tablespoon ready!

DANGEROUS 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour (plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well .
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

OMG! This sounds so utterly fantastic! If we weren't leaving, like right now, for the hockey game I would so totally make this RIGHT NOW.

And another thing . . . how did you get your neat little "reaction" do-hickey at the bottom of your posts. I want it.
